What was your very brief acting career all about?
I was working for a casting director. I had to find an actress to do a nude scene in The Secret Life Of Ian Fleming with Jason Connery. It wasn’t anything pornographic, they just wanted to film a scene showing a woman’s behind. It was my job to find an actress and I sent the director loads of girls. When we only had three actresses left, my boss told me to audition as well to make the numbers up. I think the director was so bored by the time I walked in he just said: ‘You’ll do.’ The next morning, my boss said he’d get me ten times what I was earning a week to do the part so I did it. Before we shot anything, the wardrobe man came to my caravan – I told him he must have the wrong person but he held up a triangle of brown material and said: ‘This is to stick over your front bottom, love.’ I sent him away. I didn’t think having that over my fluff would make much difference.

Which is a bit strange as in the brief clip I have seen she bares her breasts and her bum is not shown at all.

Thanks for the Kaylee interview. I did indeed see that photo before I had any idea who she might be. Razz

Gemma Arterton
http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/913406?UserKey=
In the movie, Agent Fields, played by Arterton is coaxed into bed by Bond when he says: “I can’t find the stationery.” Speaking about that chat-up line, Arterton said: “It worked. Guys all around the world will be using that one.” She added that she had no problem performing a nude scene with Craig, joking: “It’s our job. He was very lucky to see me naked.”

Either Kate has different versions depending on the audience or journalists are making it up. Previous she was quoted:

Quote:
"She added that she had to bare all because the director didn't like the knickers she had on. She said"when shooting the scene they said my large pair of M&S knickers didn't fit the bill, so I had to be nude."

I saw the interview too - very interesting and thanks for posting the story with the pic!

Maybe they offered her some fake fur to make her feel more comfortable on set - ie less naked? Or maybe there is some footage on the cutting room floor somewhere?

I like the fact she was prepared to go nude and thought the 'fake fur' was a waste of time.

Lizzy Caplan, "True Blood"

http://www.asylum.com/2008/11/13/lizzy-caplan-crush-requited/

What's up with all the nudity?

I've never done nudity before so it is kind of traumatic to do it, but after the first time it was like 'Oh, this is not bad at all.' Then I realized, 'Oh, f*ck, this is gonna be on television. And people are gonna see this. Jesus.' So it was a little scary but I think I'm kind of over it now. I'm glad I did it. "It was sort of a moment of invincibility like 'Oh, s-, I can pull this off. It's fine.'

Are you worried people are going to approach you and be like "Hi, I've seen your boobs?"

I really have never been cast in a role like this so I'm kind of unprepared for what it may yield. I guess the strange thing is my friend's fathers are watching this. That's gotta be weird. My father is adorable and he called me last night and was like, "Is this an episode that I can watch?" and I was like, 'No, Dad, you do not want to watch this.' He's super uncomfortable. We kind of tiptoe around the issue.

Is it strange to have weirdo creeps like us ogling you on the Internet?

It seems to be complimentary so I guess that's alright. I think if people were saying really nasty sh*t about me I would probably lock myself in the closet. I haven't really dug too deep into the message boards because I know I'll just find one comment that's mean and I'll cry.

Is it weird to shoot the sex scenes?

It's surprisingly fun, actually. You'd think you'd feel awkward because there's just a bunch of dudes standing around watching. But it's this weirdly liberating thing. It's preposterous that you show up and you're in a room full of people watching you simulate sex.

Annabeth Gish in New York Times:

Q. You had a nude scene as Eileen. Did you do any special preparation for that?

A. That was my first nude scene, but because it was not exploitative, it didn’t feel compromising to me. But it’s also one of the most liberating things for me personally, when you’re using your body freely, without judgment, to express a character’s emotional state. Did I work out? No, because Eileen doesn’t work out, and you can’t be a gym rat if you’re playing someone who isn’t.

In the Special Features of the "Criminal Minds: The Complete Second Season" DVD set (disc 6), there's a feature where Kirsten Vangsness discusses her stage career. There's a shot of promotional photo (not a nude shot) from one play she was in, as she explains "This is a show where I got naked. Completely naked at the beginning of the show. A good three minutes. Naked, naked, naked." The title of the play was "The Fan Maroo."

Kate Winslet wore a pubic wig for "The Reader." The Oscar-winning actress had to bare all for the Holocaust movie and producers took measures to ensure her body was consistent with the era.

She told Allure magazine: "I had to grow the hair down there. But because of years of waxing, as all of us girls know, it doesn't come back quite the way
it used to. They even made me a merkin - a wig - because they were so concerned that I might not be able to grow enough."
Despite her embarrassing confession, Kate has previously admitted she had no problem filming sex scenes with 18-year-old co-star David Kross.
The 33-year-old actress explained: "It was the same as shooting any other scene of that nature. A scene with that level of intimacy involving nudity, you
know, it's always nerve-wracking, and you really have to rehearse those scenes so that everybody knows exactly what's going on. He didn't need that much look
ing after."
The "Revolutionary Road" star has been vocal about stripping on screen, insisting husband Sam Mendes doesn't mind if it is vital to the role.

She said recently: "Of course Sam doesn't get jealous. I'm not a porn star. I'm not walking out there and actually having sex with other people for my
job. He doesn't get jealous at all, not in the slightest. It's really not a big deal."

"I feel that any level of nudity in films that I have been a part of has been absolutely relevant and actually enhanced the story."

I wish someone would interview Julianna Guill, about her nudity in the Friday the 13th remake.
